GUILFORD – Ella Marie Hood passed away Thanksgiving Day Nov. 25, 2010, being comforted by her Mommy and Daddy at home. She was born Jan. 27, 2010, in Bangor. Ella was loved by all who knew her, and she touched the hearts of many. Ella is cherished by her incredible big sister, Brittany; her parents, Troy and Anita Hood of Guilford; maternal grandparents, Placido and Pauline Morales of Willimantic; paternal grandfather, Arthur Hodgden of Levant; paternal grandparents, Holly and Gary Hood of Bangor; special aunts, Heather Walters of Bangor and Rosa Kropoff of Willimantic; many other aunts, uncles, cousins, great-grandparents and special friends. Ella was met in heaven by her great-grandfather, Harold “Buddy” Corcoran; great-grandmother, “Pancha”; cousin, Ben; and uncle, Juan. Ella will always be remembered for her stubbornness, never give up attitude, and her big beautiful blue eyes and amazingly long eyelashes. We will never forget. Relatives and friends are welcome to call 4-6 p.m. Monday, Nov. 29, at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St., Bangor, where a funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 30, with Pastor Ken Graves, pastor of Calvary Chapel, Orrington, officiating. Interment will be at Mount Hope Cemetery, Bangor.
