EAST HARTFORD, Conn., and HODGDON – Genevieve Lloyd Coyle, 85, of East Hartford, Conn., the wife of John Mahlon Coyle, died Friday, Nov. 26, 2010, at Manchester Manor. Born Jan. 27, 1925, in Hodgdon, she was daughter of the late William and Blanch (Dickinson) Lloyd. Genevieve served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and retired from Pratt & Whitney Aircraft. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Judith Sadosky and her husband, Robert, of Manchester, Conn., Richard W. Coyle of Willington, Conn., and John L. Coyle and his wife, Patricia, of Granby, Conn.; her grandchildren, Dr. Kevin Sadowski and his wife, Susan, Kristen J. Beaupre and her husband, Christopher, and Ryan and Sean Coyle; her great-grandchildren, Ava and Michael Sadowski; sisters, Margaret Crane of Arizona and Pauline Carter of Canada; her brother, Hudson Leigh Lloyd of Maine; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings, Forest Lloyd, Katherine Chase, Samuel D. Lloyd, William Cedric Lloyd, Joseph A. Lloyd and Winona Clark. Funeral services will be held 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 2, at John F. Tierney Funeral Home, 219 West Center St., Manchester, Conn., where family and friends may call 5 p.m. until the time of service.
