CLAIRE, New Brunswick, and CARIBOU – Gerard Milliard, 72, died Nov. 25, 2010, at Edmundston Regional Hospital. He was born Dec. 31, 1937, in Connors, New Brunswick, eldest son of the late Roland and Yvette (Labrie) Milliard. Gerard worked, lived and raised all of his children in Caribou, until returning to Canada in 2002. Surviving in addition to his wife of 52 years, Beatrice of Claire, New Brunswick, are one son and four daughters, Anne Dipadua and her husband, Mark, of Xena, Ohio, Mona Campbell of Caribou, Lynne Tenney and her husband, Christopher, of Mapleton, Peter Milliard and his wife, Lisa, of Woodland and Susan Randolph and her husband, Patrick, of Caribou; 12 grandchildren, Myles, Bethany, David, Kristen, Luca, Jonathan, Brandon, Breanna, Alissa, Matthew, Hunter and Daniel; and eight siblings, Normand and his wife, Diane, of Connors, New Brunswick, Yvonne and his wife, Anne, of Connors, New Brunswick, Marie St. Hilaire of St Francois due Lac, Quebec, Patricia Lavoie and her late husband, Berthier, of Degelis, Rolande Ouellette and her husband, Clarence, of Connors, New Brunswick, Norma Dufour and her husband, Roger, of Presque Isle, Corinne St. John and her husband, David, of Caribou and Louise Brescia and her husband, Stanley, also of Caribou. Gerard was predeceased by one brother, Reggie. Funeral services were held 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 27, at Notre Dame Rosary Church, Connors, New Brunswick. Information regarding a burial service to be held in the spring in Connors, New Brunswick, will be published at a later date by the family.
