HOULTON – Catherine Lorraine Scott, 49, died unexpectedly Nov. 27, 2010, at a local hospital. She was born June 12, 1961, in Houlton, daughter of William and Yvonne (McGary) Scott. Cathy graduated from Houlton High School, Class of 1979, and was a member of Houlton Wesleyan Church. She was head teller for Savings Bank of Maine for 11 years, was an avid photographer and enjoyed scrapbooking her pictures. She deeply loved and was very devoted to her family and friends Cathy is survived by her father, William Scott of Caribou; her brother, James Scott of Littleton; two sisters, Wendy Scott of Houlton and Julie Marcus of Lake City, Fla.; three nieces, Christiana Marcus, Isabel Marcus and Yvonne Henderson; several aunts and uncles, especially her aunt, Fern Bubar, who was like a mother to Cathy; many cousins, especially Mary and Jim Lincoln and family; and her many, many friends. She was predeceased by her mother, Yvonne. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Dunn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday at Houlton Wesleyan Church with the Rev. Wayne Robertson officiating. Interment will be at Linneus Cemetery.
