PRESQUE ISLE – Lillie Greenier, 89, passed away Nov. 29, 2010, at a Houlton health care facility. She was born April 15, 1921, in Aiken, S.C., the daughter of Louis and Lillie (Scott) Woodward. Lillie graduated from high school in Aiken, S.C., and then met her husband, Walter, while he was serving in the military. He then talked her into moving to Maine. They were married for many years and had two children, Edward and Donna. She is survived by her son, Edward and his wife, Diane, of Sabattus and their family: son, Larry Greenier and his wife, April, of Sabattus, and their children, Shawn and Danny Greenier, and son, Anthony Greenier and his wife, Kelly, of Sabattus, and their daughter, Alisha Greenier; a daughter, Donna Wood and her husband, Darryl, of Presque Isle and their family: daughter, Tammy Winger and her husband, Brad, of Presque Isle and their children, Jaren and Karsen Winger. She also leaves behind a brother, Kelly Woodward and his wife, Pauline, of Aiken, S.C.; a sister, Betty Jernigan of Southport, N.C.; as well as many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and her husband, Walter E. Greenier, she was predeceased by her brother, Louie W. Woodward; and a sister, Marie Denny.
