ORRINGTON – Thomas A. Henderson, 58, husband of Vicki A. (Hewes) Henderson, died Nov. 28, 2010, at his home with his family at his side. He was born April 1, 1952, in Fort Fairfield, son of Horace E. and Helen M. (Monson) Henderson. Thomas was an avid outdoorsman that especially enjoyed hunting and fishing. Surviving, in addition to his wife of Orrington, are two daughters, Tracy Ashe, and Barbie Wood and her husband, Fred, all of Orrington; his four grandchildren with whom he loved spending time, Hannah Joyce, Dillon and Tyler Smith, and Jordan Wood, all of Orrington; one sister, Margaret Oak and her husband, Parker, of Winter Garden, Fla.; one brother, James Henderson and his wife, Karen, of Caribou; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister, Joyce White; and two brothers, Bradford and William Henderson. A service honoring Thomas’ life will be held 3 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 1, at East Orrington Congregational Church, 38 Johnson Mill Road, Orrington, with the Rev. Robert T. Carlson, pastor emeritus, presiding. A time of fellowship and refreshments will be immediately afterward in the church center.
