BANGOR – Margaret A. Burgess, 63, wife of Kenneth Burgess, died Nov. 28. 2010, at a Bangor hospital. She was born Dec. 22, 1946, in Old Town, daughter of Stephen A. and Viola E. (Caldwell) Foster. Margaret was a member and past worthy matron of Order of the Eastern Star, Milwee Chapter, No. 198, Orrington. Surviving, in addition to her husband of Bangor, are three children, Amy Rines and her husband, Roger, of Chesapeake, Va., Thomas Burgess and his wife, Valerie, of Carmel, and Stephen Burgess of Levant; three grandchildren, Amber Glatt, Ashley and Brandon Burgess; and one brother, Robert Foster and his wife, Bunny, of Milford, Conn. Family and friends may visit her family beginning 1 p.m. Friday, Dec. 3, at Common Room, Northwood Apartments, 42 Husson Ave., Bangor. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make memorial contributions to her husband to assist with his cancer treatments, 42 Husson Ave., Apt F4, Bangor, ME 04401.
