HERMON – Rosario “Fred” A. Mancuso, 82, died Nov. 29, 2010, with his wife at his side at his home after a short illness. He was born Nov. 8, 1928, in Fitchburg, Mass. Fred served in the U.S. Air Force as a staff sergeant from 1953 to 1957. He worked for United Technologies for 29 years, retiring in 1991. Fred especially enjoyed his summers at Pleasant Pond, Island Falls. “He gave so much, but took so little.” Fred is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Judith “Judy” (Tingley) Manusco of Hermon; his three children, Susan Vinney, Bruce Mancuso and Dean Mancuso; two sisters, Katherine Vaillancourt and Josephine Sangster; his stepson, Cameron Bryant; two sisters-in-law, Susan Whidden and Barbara Carlson. The family thanks New Hope Hospice for their dedication and support to Fred during these difficult times. Graveside services will be held next spring at Island Falls Cemetery.
