CORINNA – Debra A. Brewer, 58, died unexpectedly Dec. 5, 2010, at a Pittsfield hospital. She was born Sept. 1, 1952, in Bangor, a daughter of Raymond and Phyllis (Hewes) Blaisdell. She graduated from Schenck High School, Class of 1970. She was a certified professional Maine florist, was a graduate of CSI Interior Design and attended the University College of Bangor, studying criminal justice. Debbie was a member of Morse’s Corner Baptist Church, Corinna. She loved music and served as pianist at the church. She had been very active in local Baptist churches in the area. She also loved to sing. Her true passions were her family and gardening. She enjoyed arranging flowers, decorating her home and teaching her children. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband of 40 years, Norbert “Guy” Brewer; three sons, Christopher Brewer, Jason and wife, Margaret Brewer, and Joshua Brewer; a daughter, Shannon Brewer; four brothers, Raymond and wife, Pamela Blaisdell Jr., Thomas and wife, Suely Blaisdell, David and wife, Shelly Blaisdell, and Robert Blaisdell; a sister, Dianne Berry; two grandchildren, Daniel and Elizabeth Brewer; several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held 1 p.m. Friday, Dec. 10, at Morse’s Corner Baptist Church, corner of Exeter and White roads, Corinna, with Pastor Michael Wilbur officiating. A reception will be held at Debbie and Guy’s residence, 183 Greenbush Road, Corinna, after the service.
