SAINT BASILE, New Brunswick – Leo Morneault, 86, died Dec. 6, 2010, with his loving wife by his side at St. Joseph Nursing Home, Saint Basile, New Brunswick. He was born May 3, 1924, son of the late Alfred Morneault and Flavie Nadeau. Leo is survived by his wife, of 61 years, Cecile Boucher. He leaves behind a daughter, Joan Deveau of Edmundston, New Brunswick; two sons, Mario and Susan, and Gil and Roxanne of Millinocket; 11 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, two brothers and four sisters. Friends are invited to visit 7-9 p.m. Atlantic Standard Time Dec. 8 at J.B. Cote Funeral Home, Edmundston, New Brunswick. The Mass of Christian burial will be held 11 a.m. Atlantic Standard Time Dec. 9 at Saint Hilaire, New Brunswick, with a lunch afterward for family and friends to gather and share memories of Leo. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alzheimer’s Society.
