EDDINGTON – Lewis “Gramps” Leighton, 75, passed away Monday, Dec. 6, 2010. He was born May 20, 1935, the son of Rose and the late Casper Leighton of Bangor. Lewis is survived by his lifetime love, Marie Sechrest of Eddington; and “the seven J’s,” Janna, Jack, Judy, Jeff, Jody, Jory and Janeen. Lewis leaves behind 12 grandchildren, Ame?, Katie, Kristi, Lindsey, Ashley, Joadi, Trista, Amber, Nicholas, Meaghan, Joshua and Jessica; and five great-grandchildren, Connor, Nia, Sage, Brandon and Jolene. A celebration of Louie’s life will be held 3 p.m. Friday, Dec. 10, at Greenlawn Memorial Funeral Home. Those who wish may make donations in memory of Louie to the Development Department at St. Joseph’s Hospital, P.O. Box 1138, Bangor, ME 04412. Louie, aka Gramps, will be sadly missed by all.
