CUMBERLAND – The parents of Amanda Fitzpatrick and Adam Jandreau are pleased to announce their engagement. Amanda is the daughter of Stephen Fitzpatrick of Linneus and Cynthia Hutchinson of Linneus, and Adam is the son of Ronnie and Suzelle Jandreau of Fort Kent. Amanda graduated from Hodgdon High School in 2004 and Adam graduated from Fort Kent Community High School in 2005. They met while attending the University of Maine in Orono where she graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering in 2008 and he graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering in 2009. Amanda is employed as a structural engineer for Becker Structural Engineers, Inc., and Adam is a civil engineer for Power Engineers, Inc. The couple is planning a Sept. 10, 2011, wedding at Sacred Heart Church in Yarmouth with a reception in Portland.
