STONINGTON – Mina M. Willard, 83, died Dec. 10, 2010, at a Deer Isle health care facility. She was born Sept. 22, 1927, in Everett, Mass., the daughter of John R. and Linnie (Robbins) Willard. Mina enjoyed people and spent a lot of time visiting nursing homes and giving companionship to others. She led the sing-a-longs. She is survived by a brother, Arthur Willard and wife, Jacqueline, of Lewiston; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, Harold L. Willard. Graveside services will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 15, at Evergreen Cemetery, Stonington, with the Rev. Allen Myers officiating. Gifts in Mina’s memory may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
