DEXTER – Gloria E. Knowles, 84, died Dec. 13, 2010, at her residence. She was born July 26, 1926, in Ward Hill, Mass., a daughter of John and Violet (Hamlin) Mudge. She is survived by her children, Diana and husband, John Westcott, Timothy E. Knowles, and Christopher and wife, Linda Knowles; two sisters, I. Norma Lipinski and Hazel Mudge; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Dana F. Knowles. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 18, at St. Anne’s Church, Free Street, Dexter, with the Rev. Kent Ouellette officiating.
