LINCOLN – Norman A. Munson, 81, husband of the late Althea (Thibodeau) Munson, died Dec. 14, 2010, at a Lincoln nursing home. He was born May 21, 1929, in Springfield, son of Raymond and Helen (Cole) Munson. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. Norman loved bird hunting, brook trout fishing, family, friends and taking rides with his wife, Althea. He is survived by his siblings, Fred Munson of Belfast, John Munson of Charleston, Lois Thibodeau of Old Town, Joyce Thibodeau, Marjorie Worster and Avon Munson, all of Springfield; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents and his wife, he was predeceased by two sisters, Annie Worster and Grace Downs; and five brothers, Richard, Millage, Edward, Charlie and Carl Munson. Graveside services will be held in the spring at Woodlawn Cemetery, Lee. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sweet Seniors Activities Fund, 30 Pine St., East Millinocket, ME 04430.
