HANCOCK and SALSBURY COVE – Robert Leland Gray, 81, died Dec. 21, 2010, at his home in Hancock. He was born Oct. 22, 1922, in Bar Harbor, son of Linwood C. and Carmilita M. (Leland) Gray. Bob was in the trucking business for 40 years. After retirement he enjoyed his time lobstering. He had a great sense of humor. He was a 50-year member of Bar Harbor Congregational Church. He is survived by sons, Kenneth Gray and wife, Bess, of Southwest Harbor, and Michael S. Gray of Alton; daughter, Judith G. Albano of Seabrook, N.H.; grandchildren, Robert, Kenneth, Jamie, Stephanie and Tom; great-grandson, Thomas Albano Jr.; stepbrother, Henry Chary and wife, Judie, of New Market, N.H.; special cousin, Jessica; and special grandchild, Melissa. He was predeceased by his wife, Gloria White Gray; and sister, Ruth M. Gray. Spring burial will be held at Leland Cemetery, Salsbury Cove.
