BANGOR – Dolores G. “Lory” Webb, 78, wife of the late Geraldean Webb, died Dec. 21, 2010, at a Bangor hospital after a long illness. She was born March 8, 1932, in Milwaukee, daughter of William and Gertrude (Bernstein) Hoelzer. Lory was employed by the CIA in Washington, D.C., for many years. Her and her husband’s hobby was rock hunting, which turned into owning their own gift shop, specializing in rocks and minerals. Lory was a member and sang in the choir at New Apostolic Church, Glenburn, for many years. She is survived by her brother, Ronald Hoelzer and his wife, Ingrid, of Bangor; her grandson, Jeremy; one nephew, Tim and his wife, Jill; one niece, Vicki and her husband, Larry; two great-nephews, William III and Matthew; and one great-niece, Lexiana. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her son, Martin William Webb; her daughter, Sarah Ann Webb; and her brother, William F. Hoelzer Jr. A service of remembrance will be held 3 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 2, at New Apostolic Church, Glenburn, with the Rev. Steven Tilders officiating.
