Everett was born Aug. 28, 1926, in Perham, son of Inez and Guilford Sperry. He proudly served his country in the military during World War II before leaving with an honorable discharge. The love story of he and his wife started when they were young. They were wed June 18, 1947, married for more than 63 years and had five children. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, going camping, hunting, snowsledding and especially loved taking his grandchildren fishing. He and his wife also enjoyed spending time antique shopping along the coast. Everett loved talking with his many church friends and singing about the Lord. He was a quiet man of few words and always had a peaceful, calm presence about him. He was greatly respected by his family and friends for his constant support and his love, which he shared with all. As he got older, he loved walks in the warm sunshine and watching the deer grazing through the yard in the winter.
