ROCKLAND – Lester H. LaCombe, 83, husband of Catherine Nystrom LaCombe, died peacefully Dec. 27, 2010, at Penobscot Bay Medical Center, after a period of failing health. A memorial service with visiting hours afterward will be held 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 30, at Burpee, Carpenter & Hutchins Funeral Home, 110 Limerock St., Rockland. A celebration service will be held 11 a.m. Friday at Belfast Church of the Nazarene, 95 Swan Lake Ave., Belfast, with the Rev. Cecil Jones officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Belfast Church of the Nazarene, 95 Swan Lake Ave., Belfast, ME 04915.
