HERMON – Gayle L. Robertson, 59, died unexpectedly Saturday, Jan. 1, 2011. She was born May 18, 1951, in Bangor, daughter of Gordon and Gloria (Lane) DeBeck. Gayle grew up in Eddington and was a graduate of Brewer High School. She enjoyed many hobbies, including camping, four-wheeling, and caring for her miniature horses and dogs. Her greatest passion was her family. Gayle is survived by her loving husband of 37 years, Phillip Robertson; daughter, Gina Richardson and her husband, Timothy Jr., of Carmel; grandson, Phillip Richardson and his fiancee, Cassey Hawksley, and her son, Carter; siblings, Gordon DeBeck Jr. and his wife, Cindy, of Newburgh, Gregg DeBeck and his wife, Terry, of San Leandro, Calif., Garnette Thompson and her husband, Randy, of Milford, Garrett DeBeck of Glenburn and Garth DeBeck and his fiancee, Denise, of Clifton; nieces and nephews, Gordon DeBeck III, Gregg DeBeck Jr., Adam Thompson, Nicole Andrews, Angela Young, Thomas DeBeck and Bradley DeBeck; great-nieces and great-nephews, Evan Andrews, Brady Andrews, Whitney Thompson, Waylon Thompson and Kaden Young; and her family at Beltone New England. She was predeceased by her parents. A memorial reception will be held 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 4, at the Family Reception Center of Brookings-Smith, 163 Center St., Bangor.
