BAILEYVILLE – Norman Eugene Clark, 67, passed away Thursday, Dec. 30, 2010, at his home with his loving family by his side, after a courageous battle with cancer. Norman was born June 25, 1943, in Houlton, son of the late Eugene and Hazel (Larribee) Clark. He was employed by Georgia Pacific Corp. for 35 years and by Domtar Inc. for six years. Norman had a wonderful outlook on life and enjoyed the great outdoors with his family and friends. He was a member of Tomah Trail Riders, Topsfield; Spednic Club, Baileyville; and the National Rifle Assocation. Norman enjoyed being Santa for the town of Baileyville for many years. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Grace and Frank Harriman. Norman is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Carole Ann (Harriman) Clark; two daughters, Kelli Harvey and her husband, John, of Baileyville and Jo-Ann McGovern and her husband, John, of Baileyville; one son, Rodney Clark and his companion, Joanne Sappier, of Baileyville; two granddaughters, Chelsey and Marissa McGovern of Baileyville; one grandson, Andrew Ste. Marie of Baileyville; a special sister and brother-in-law, Sandra and Robert Clark of Grand Lake Stream; a special cousin, Patricia Alley of Presque Isle; several nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Mike Trafton. Visiting hours will be held 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 5, at Mays Funeral Home, 26 Church St., Calais. Graveside services will be held in the spring at Woodland Cemetery.
