ST. AGATHA – Levite Pelletier, 90, died peacefully Jan. 6, 2011, at a Madawaska nursing home. He was born Aug. 5, 1920, in St. Agatha, son of Joseph and Adaline (Chasse) Pelletier. Levite owned his own construction business until his retirement. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Marthe (Landry) Pelletier of Madawaska; one daughter, Darleen and her husband, Mark Nelson, of Newton, N.J.; two grandchildren, David and Katie; one brother, Alphy of Madawaska; and one sister, Mabel of New Britain, Conn. He was predeceased by his parents; three brothers, Arthur, Louis and Edman; and two sisters, Jeannette and Priscilla. Friends and relatives may call 6-8 p.m. Monday, Jan. 10, and 8:30 a.m. until the time of service Tuesday at Michaud Funeral Home, St. Agatha. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 11, at St. Agatha Catholic Church with the Rev. Phil Cyr officiating. Burial will be in the spring at St. Agatha Lower Cemetery. For those who desire, donations may be made to St. Michael’s Church. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.
