HOWLAND and LAKEVILLE -June E. Snow, 91, wife of the late Hulbert Snow, died Jan. 8, 2011, at a Bangor hospital. She was born Dec. 26, 1919, in East Machias, daughter of Edgar and Marjorie (Foster) Albee. June graduated from Washington Academy, East Machias, and then Washington State Teacher’s College at age 40. She taught school in Jacksonville, Springfield and Augusta. June was a loving mother and a proud grandmother. She was a kind and gentle person. She loved her plants. She is survived by three sons, David Snow of Denver, Lloyd Snow and his wife, Jean, of Enfield and Nathan Snow of Denver; two grandchildren, Jason Snow and Chelsi Snow; three sisters, Jane Newman of Unity, Nancy Albee of East Machias and Betty White of Massachusetts; two brothers, Francis Albee and Keith Albee, both of East Machias; several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was predeceased by a brother, Lewis Albee; and three sisters, Warraine Bolton, Wanda Hartman and Constance Albee.
