OWLS HEAD – Darla L. Ilvonen, 50, wife of Uno R. Ilvonen, died Friday, Jan. 7, 2011, at her winter home in West Palm Beach, Fla., after a gallant battle with cancer. Friends and relatives are invited to visit 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 13, at Burpee, Carpenter & Hutchins Funeral Home, 110 Limerock St., Rockland, where a service in celebration of Darla’s life will be held 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 14. Interment will be at Ocean View Cemetery, South Thomaston.
