BANGOR – Dorinda Rita (LeClair) Young, 58, passed through God’s heavenly gates Jan. 8, 2011. Dorinda was born March 30, 1952, daughter of the late Franklin T. (Weasel) LeClair and Miriam A. LeClair of Orono. Dorinda attended schools in Orono. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends from all arenas of her life. She often helped people who were in need of friendship, rides or just companionship by spending time to do the “little things” that bonded them together. Dorinda is survived by her three children, Holly Young, Melanie Young and Malcolm “Mike” Young Jr.; two brothers, Dale LeClair and David LeClair and his wife, Barbara; and six sisters, Dianne Sands, Donna Talbot, Delores Hathorn and her husband, Sheldon, Daryel LeClair, Darlene Gilman and Debbie LeClair. She was predeceased by her sister, Dottie Fredette, in 1979; and her brother, Donald (Bungo) LeClair, in 2009. A celebration of Dorinda’s life will be held 10 a.m.-noon Monday, Jan. 24, at Veazie Senior Center, 3 Flagg St., Veazie. Family and friends are invited to come and share fellowship at that time.
