BANGOR – Norma E. Norris, 67, wife of the late Paul Norris, died Jan. 10, 2011, at her Bangor home. She was born Jan. 28, 1943, in Mount Desert Island, the daughter of Fred and Nellie (Dickey) Hibbard. Norma was a charge nurse at Courtland Living Center, Ellsworth, for many years. She had a great sense of humor and loved her family and life. Norma is survived by her three sons, Paul and his wife, Michelle, of Orland, Alan and his wife, April, of Bangor and Mark and his wife, Linda, of Stetson; seven grandchildren, Ashley, Brittany, Allison, Nicholas, Erin, Chad and Bronsen; four sisters, Nancy Hibbard, Freda Hibbard, Patty Richard and Barbara Dunton; and one brother, Fred Hibbard. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Ronnie Dickey. Special thanks to Bonnie P.; and grandson, Duston, who Norma loved dearly. A service of remembrance will be held noon Saturday, Jan. 15, at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St., Bangor, with the Rev. Clayton Blackstone, pastor of Bangor Advent Christian Church, officiating.
