WINTHROP, Maine — Bragging rights are on the line at the Maine State Arm Wrestling Championships.
The competition to see who has the strongest biceps in the state begins at 4 p.m. Saturday at the Pond Town Tavern in Winthrop.
The matches take place at standup tables, and there’ll be referees to who will monitor the action.
There are different weight divisions in right-handed, left-handed and women’s classes. Trophies will be awarded to the first-, second- and third-place finishers.
There’s a $20 entry fee to compete, but it’s free to watch.
