PLYMOUTH, N.H. — Senior guard Kaylie DeMillo of Jay scored the 1,000th point of her college career Wednesday night to help the University of Southern Maine post a 76-62 Little East Conference women’s basketball victory over Plymouth State.
Becky Dixon paced Southern Maine of Gorham with 17 points and nine rebounds and Courtney Cochran tallied 15 points, while DeMillo finished with 14 points. Erin McNamara and Haley Jordan added 10 points each.
Alicia Doucet poured in a game-high 29 points to propel Plymouth State. Colleen O’Hara scored 13 points.

Allie Beaulieu led the Bobcats with 20 points. Jessie Igoe had 12 points and a team-high seven rebounds.
Ashley Geel was 7-for-9 from the field and scored 15 points for the Monks. Abby Young scored 14 points. Mackenzie Dufour had five assists.
