CROUSEVILLE – Necia C. Crouse, 96, wife of the late Ralph Crouse, died peacefully Sunday night, Jan. 23, 2011, at a local assisted living facility. She was born Aug. 19, 1914, in Mapleton, daughter of Howard and Verna (McDonough) Carvell.
Necia was a graduate of Mapleton High School. She enjoyed gardening and crossword puzzles. She will be remembered by many children she baby sat and for her home made donuts. Necia was a member of Crouseville Advent Christian Evening Circle.
She is survived by five sons, Wayne of Crouseville, Beverly “Carl” and his wife, Dot, of Las Vegas, Neil of Lisbon, Roger and his wife, Sandra, of Crouse-ville and Steven and his wife, Shelby, of Brunswick; a sister, Lila Flewelling of Crouseville; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by two brothers, Maurice and Vernon; two sisters, Lois Hoyt and Hazel Carter; and a grandson, Brandon Crouse.
In keeping with her wishes, there will no calling hours or funeral services. A committal service will held in the spring at Crouseville Cemetery. Donations may be made in her mem-ory to Susan G.
