ORONO – Arnold L. “Bob” Wright, 92, died Jan. 30, 2011 at his home. He was born April 28, 1918, in England.
Arnold graduated from Higgins Classical Institute, Charleston, and served in the Royal Canadian Air Force during World War II. He lived in Portland for many years working as a salesman for R. B. Dunning.
Arnold is survived by his loving companion for more than 60 years, Helen Ellis of Bangor; his grandson, Jeff Solari and his wife, Catherine, of Bangor; three great-grandchildren, Andrew, Caitlin and Ainsley Solari; and two nieces, Cynthia Lenius of Michigan and Jean Mardigan of Cape Elizabeth.
