BERNARD – Olive Ella Kelley died peacefully Feb. 2, 2011, at a Bar Harbor hospital. She was born Sept. 9, 1924, in Bernard, daughter of Frank and Letha (Carter) Seavey.
She was predeceased by her husband of 47 years, Chandler Kelley Sr.; eldest son, Darrell Hubbs; sister, Phyllis Beal; brothers, Frank and Wilber Seavey; and niece, Mary Seavey Grosbeck. She is survived by her sons, Rudolph Kelley and Chandler Kelley Jr. and wife, Andrea; daughter, Heidi Kelley; brother, Wendell Seavey and wife, Ann; 12 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
A memorial for Olive will be held 11 a.m. Feb. 19 at Tremont Congregational Church.
