BLUEMONT, Va. – Arnold John Fox, 76, died Thursday, Feb. 10, 2011, at a local nursing home. Mr. Fox was born May 14, 1934, in Portage Lake, the son of Alen L. and Myra Drake Fox.
He was a heavy equipment operator for the state of Maine. He served in the U.S. Army Infantry Division during the Korean War. He was a member of Lions Club, Florida; and Easton Baptist Church, Easton.
Surviving is a daughter, Sandra Fox Nored of Lechon, Calif.; a son, Wayne F. Fox and his wife, Kim, of Bluemont, Va.; four sisters, Leatrice Nadeau of San Diego, Novella Bourgoine of California, Carol Michaud of Presque Isle and Judy Fox of Bangor; a brother, Nelson Fox of Columbus, Ohio; two granddaughters, Nycole Fox-Formo and her husband, Jon, of Lynchburg, Va., and Crystal Fox of Bluemont, Va.; and a great-granddaughter, Xoe Formo of Lynchburg, Va. A brother, Gary Fox, predeceased him.
