LINCOLN – Robert J. Arthurs, 36, died unexpectedly, Feb. 13, 2011, in Lincoln. He was born May 6, 1974, in Lincoln, the son of Joseph and Joyce (Rutherford) Arthurs. He was a good friend who was willing to help anyone.
He is survived by his children, Tanisha Arthurs of Mattawamkeag, Landon Arthurs of Lincoln and Lorelei Beck of Bangor; his fiancee, Susan Leland of Lincoln; his mother and stepfather, Joyce Arthurs and Eric Arsenault, of Levant; a brother, Scott Arthurs and his wife, Lise, of Orrington; grandmothers, Ila Arthurs and Doris Rutherford; and parents-in-law, Kevin and Carla Leland of Brewer. He was predeceased by his father, Joseph Arthurs.
Friends may call 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 16, at Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Road, Lincoln, where a memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Thursday with the Rev. Vince Hartford officiating.
