PEMBROKE – Capt. Robert W. Mackintire, 77, died Dec. 17, 2010, in Bangor. Bob was born Aug. 15, 1933, in Somerville, Mass., to Ernest V. and Louise F. (Bailey) Mackintire.
In addition to his parents, Bob was predeceased by his nephew, Eric Freden. Survivors include his sister, Carol A. Freden; his nephew, Mark Freden; and his ex-wife, Patt Kydd.
At Bob’s request, there will be no funeral services. We will remember him privately as a kind and gentle man and wish him fair winds on his voyage.
