EAST HARTFORD, Conn., and CASTLE HILL – Crystal L. Johnston Grice, 74, died Feb. 21, 2011, at a Hartford, Conn., hospital. She was born March 4, 1936, the daughter of Lee and Hazel (York) Argraves.
Crystal retired from the state of Connecticut.
She is survived by three sons, Everett A. Johnston Jr. and his wife, Ann Louise, of Sulfax, Va., Arthur of Rome, Ga., and Garth A. and his wife, Debbie, of Mapleton; a daughter, Christine M. Johnston of East Hartford, Conn.; six brothers, John, Milford, Dale and Ronald Argraves of Castle Hill, Robert of Fort Fairfield and Eugene Argraves of Manchester, Conn.; three sisters, Harriet Singh, Roberta Roy and Sandra Fettig, all of Hartford, Conn.; and five grandchildren, Christopher Johnston of Castle Hill, Brandon Johnston of East Hartford, Conn., Dylan Johnston of Manchester, Conn., Shauna Johnston of Mapleton and Devin Johnston of East Hartford, Conn. She was predeceased by her first husband, Everett Johnston, in 1995; and most recent husband, Leonard Grice.
Relatives and friends may call 6 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 26, at Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, Presque Isle, where funeral services will be held 7 p.m.
