BANGOR and CRYSTAL – Mrs. Dorothy V. Royal, 78, beloved mother and grandmother, died Feb. 26, 2011, at her home after a long illness. She was born Nov. 10, 1932, in Crystal, the daughter of Charles and Clara (Brewer) West.
Dorothy enjoyed many years of bowling, traveling and working in the children’s department at Sears. The light of her life was her grandson, Cameron.
She is survived by four children, Edna Royal of Mariaville, Donald Royal of Texas, William and his wife, Anna Marie Royal, of Glenburn and Tammy and her son, Cameron Royal, of Cushing; and three sisters, Theresa Sherwood and her husband, Ron, of Brewer, Eleanor Knowles of Wisconsin and Beryl Hunkiar of Florida. She will be sadly missed and remembered with deep affection and love.
Graveside services will be held in the spring in Crystal. Arrangements by Greenlawn Funeral Directors, Bangor.
