BANGOR, Maine — Congregation Beth El, 183 French St., will show a film examining life in modern Israel at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 8.
Yoav Kosh, an award winning Israeli cinematographer, will introduce the film and lead a discussion afterward.
“Shiva,” a portrayal of the tensions between tradition and modernity in a Moroccan-Israeli family during the first Gulf War, will be screened on March 8.
