CARIBOU – Elizabeth M. Watson, 90, died March 11, 2011, in Caribou, and has now joined her family members whom she missed so dearly. She was born June 9, 1920, in Caribou, the daughter of the late Morris and Annie (Drost) St. Peter.

She attended Caribou schools and was a devoted member of Caribou Assembly of God for more than 70 years. Elizabeth married Philip Watson Aug. 20, 1938, in Presque Isle. Her Lord, her husband and her children were her priorities in life. “Nana’s” grandchildren and great-grandchildren were often in her thoughts and prayers.

Elizabeth is survived by three daughters, Norma Duheme and her husband, Joseph, of Woodland, Phillipa Sirois of Cromwell, Conn., and Donna Watson of Middletown, Conn.; six grandchildren, Kathy Ray, Karen Duffy, Kimberly Allen, Tammie Sirois, Rose-Mary Williams and Robbie Watson; five great-grandchildren, Nicole Ray, Harmony Ray-Chaisson, Leslie Sirois, Scot Manzone and Matthew Allen; four sisters, Ethel White, Charlene Fenlason, Loretta Doody and Carolyn McGill; several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Watson was predeceased by her husband, Philip, in 1995; twins, Robert and Roberta, in 1943; her daughter, Brenda Doak, in 1992; and her son, Robert, in 2005.

Friends may call 1-2 p.m. Monday, March 14, at Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir St., Caribou, where funeral services will be held 2 p.m. with the Rev. Tony Searles, pastor of Caribou Assembly of God, officiating. Interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery. Friends who wish to contribute in memory of Mrs. Watson may do so through Caribou Assembly of God Building Fund. Envelopes are available through the funeral home.
