HERMON – Stephen E. Clark Sr., 63, husband of Martha (Doyle) Clark, died March 13, 2011, at home. He was born Aug. 5, 1947, in Bangor, son of Reginald R. Clark and Elizabeth L. (Hashey) Clark.
He was a former resident of Carmel and returned to Maine in June 2008. He served in the U.S. Army from 1965 to September 1988, and retired as a chief warrant officer three.
Surviving, in addition to his wife of 39 years, are two sons, Michael A. Clark of Killen, Ala., and Stephen E. Clark Jr. of Mobile, Ala.; his sisters, Jerry Smith, Sandra McKay, Cherryl Ouellette and Carol Sullivan; his brother, John C. Clark of North Carolina; four grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
