PRESQUE ISLE – Pamela L. Dyer, 58, passed away Sunday, March 20, 2011, at her residence. She was born July 30, 1952, in Presque Isle, the daughter of Joseph and Eleanor (Ellis) Putnam.
She was a graduate of Presque Isle High School. Pam worked at Opportunity Training Center, Presque Isle, for the past 25 years. She enjoyed spending time Saturday evenings at Camper’s Paradise, Westfield.
She is survived by her mother, Eleanor Putnam of Westfield; her stepmother, Betty Putnam of Caribou; two brothers, Joseph Jr. and Timothy Putnam and his wife, Laura, of Richmond; three sisters, Barbara Putnam of Eagle Lake, Sherri Weaver of Presque Isle and Darcy Putnam of Fort Kent; two grandchildren, Bradley and Riley Alley; her friend, H.O. Webber of Westfield; and her Camper’s Paradise family. She was predeceased by her father; her husband, Brian Dyer; and her son, James Alley Jr.
A memorial service will be held 1 p.m. Friday, March 25, at Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, 30 Church St., Presque Isle, with the Rev. Mark Carter officiating. Friends may call noon until time of service at the funeral home. On Saturday night there will be songs sung in remembrance of Pamela at Camper’s Paradise, Westfield.
