BANGOR – Pauline Rudnicki, 97, wife of the late Albin J. Rudnicki, died March 22, 2011, at a local health care center.
She was born Aug. 4, 1913, in Manhattan, N.Y., daughter of Maria Zalenska.
Pauline was a loving lady who made a mark on her family in a very lasting way. She will be remembered as an inspiration to everyone around her.
Surviving are 10 children, Marion Rudnicki and his wife, Jeanne, of Bangor, Theodore Rudnicki and his wife, Juliette, of Bangor, Felicia Wiswell and her husband, Donald, of Orrington, Karl Rudnicki and his wife, Suzan, of Carmel, Pauline Neville and her husband, Richard, of Bucksport, Frances Beland and her husband, Normand, of South Windsor, Conn., Rosalia Adams and her husband, Ronald, of Bangor, Helena Bosse and her husband, Peter, of Milford, James Rudnicki and his wife, Bernadette, of Glenburn and A. Jon Rudnicki of Glenburn; 38 grandchildren, 52 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, Albin, she was predeceased by a daughter, Johanna Hill; and four grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are welcome to call 6-8 p.m. Friday, March 25, at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St., Bangor. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 1 p.m. Saturday, March 26, at St. Paul the Apostle Parish, St. John’s Catholic Church, 207 York St., Bangor. Interment will be at Mount Pleasant Catholic Cemetery, Bangor.
