BANGOR – Patricia J. Dolan, 87, died March 23, 2011, at a Bangor hospital, after a brief illness. She was born Nov. 26, 1923, in Bangor, daughter of Patrick J. and Velzora (Watt) Dolan.
Patricia was a graduate of Bangor High School and worked for the civil service during World War II. She also worked for Eaton Peabody Law Office, Bangor, retiring after 41 years of service. She was a lifelong communicant of St. Mary’s Parish and was a member of St. Mary’s Sodality.
Surviving are her sisters, Katherine Edwards and Eleanor Ryder, both of Bangor; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She will be remembered by a dear friend, Margaret McInnis. In addition to her parents, Patricia was predeceased by her sister, Elizabeth Sklar; and two brothers, James Dolan and Neil Dolan.
Family and friends may visit 2-4 p.m. Sunday, March 27, at Kiley & Foley Funeral Service, 299 Union St., Bangor. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Monday, March 28, at St. Paul the Apostle Parish, St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Bangor. Burial will be at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Bangor.
