HAMPDEN – Herbert Frank Tenney, 87, passed away March 25, 2011, at a Bangor hospital. Herbert was born June 10, 1923, in Hampden.
Herb is survived by his wife of 65 years, Margaret E. Tenney of Hampden; his son, the Rev. Jeffrey E. Tenney and wife, Bonnie, of Bangor; grandson, Jonathan Tenney; sister, Alice Taylor; a brother, Fred Tenney; several nieces and nephews too numerous to list. Herb was predeceased by his parents, Frank W. and Hazel Tenney; four sisters and four brothers.
A graveside service with military honors celebrating Herb’s life will be held 2 p.m. Friday, June 10, at Pine Grove Cemetery, Hammond Street, Bangor, with his son, Jeff, officiating.
