CHERRYFIELD – Janet V. (Bohman) Grant, of Cherryfield and Hartford, Conn., passed away peacefully March 25, 2011, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward V. Bohman.
Janet was married to Alton A. Grant for 58 years, until his death in January 2009. She attended Classical High School, Springfield, Mass., and graduated from Gardner State Hospital as a licensed practical nurse in 1949. Janet was a member of Daughters of the Nile ANK Temple No. 160.
Janet is survived by her daughter, Cheryl A. Grant of Cherryfield; sister, Carolyn “Nicky” Crossman of Naples, Fla.; two sisters-in-law, Ida Willette of Holden and G. Irma Pinkham of Levant; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
