CARIBOU – Delmar Caron, 78, died unexpectedly April 2, 2011, in Caribou. He was born April 10, 1932, in Caribou, son of the late Joseph and Laura (Ouellette) Caron.

He was a graduate of Caribou High School and was employed as the bookkeeper at Belanger Equipment, Caribou, for many years. Mr. Caron was a lifelong member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, where he was a faithful member of the church choir, as well as the Catholic Golden Age group.

He is survived by his four brothers and sisters-in-law, Joseph and Annette Caron, Louis and Muriel Caron, Albert and Rose Caron, and Conrad and April Caron, all of Caribou; his three sisters and a brother-in-law, Virginia and Rudolph Martin, Bernice St. Peter and Blanche Bouchard, all of Caribou; many nieces and nephews. Delmar was predeceased by two brothers, Patrick and Llewellyn Caron; and one sister, Pearl Bouchard.

Friends may call 9 a.m. until the time of services Tuesday, April 5, at Parish of the Precious Blood, Sacred Heart Catholic Church, where a Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. with Father Aaron Damboise officiating. Interment will be at Sacred Heart Cemetery. After the service all are invited to a time of continued fellowship and refreshments at the parish hall.
