BUCKSPORT – Eileen R. Eaton, 89, died Sunday, April 3, 2011, at Penobscot Nursing Home. She was born March 5, 1922, in St. Stephen, New Brunswick, a daughter of Albert and Mary (Baker) Ridell.
Eileen enjoyed sewing and was a caregiver of people in their homes. She married Kenneth L. Eaton Sr., and together they raised five sons.
She is survived by four sons, Charles T. Eaton and Silvia Lewis of Chicago, Kenneth L. Eaton Jr. and wife, Sharon, of Utah, James E. Eaton of Washington state and Joseph A. E. Eaton and Janice Wells of Bucksport; one grandson, Chris Eaton of Utah; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Kenneth L. Eaton Sr.; one son, Everett M. Eaton; three brothers, Albert Ridell, Arnold Ridell and Eugene Ridell; and two sisters, Monica Clough and Margaret Drew.
