FRENCHVILLE – Elmer Landry, 59, died April 4, 2011, at his home, after a short battle with cancer. He was born Jan. 25, 1952, in Madawaska, son of Edgar and Leona (Paradis) Landry.

He is survived by his loving wife, Denise of Frenchville; one son, Brian of Panama City, Fla.; one daughter, Connie May and her husband, Denis Duperre, of Warren; one brother, Joel Landry of St. Agatha; and one sister, Muriel and her husband, Guy M. St. Onge, of Madawaska.

There will be no calling hours. There will be a Mass of Christian burial 10 a.m. Friday, April 8, at St. Luce Catholic Church, Frenchville, with the Rev. Phil Cyr officiating. Burial will be in the spring at St. Luce Cemetery, Frenchville. For those who desire, donations may be made to the Edgar Paradis Cancer Fund and American Diabetes Association.
