PATTEN – Lottie Peavey, 89, loving wife of the late George J. Peavey, who died Dec. 14, 1974, went to be with her Lord April 6, 2011, in Patten. She was born April 27, 1921, in Stockholm, daughter of Joseph and Phoebe (Bourgoine) Bossie.
She was a member of St. Paul’s Catholic Church and Sodality. Lottie had worked at plywood mills and at Mount Heights Nursing, Patten. She will be dearly missed by her family and all who knew her.
She is survived by seven children, Catherine and Scott Farnum of Monmouth, James and Parichat Peavey of Patten, Sheila and Orval Roberson of North Hill, Calif., John and April Peavey of Patten, Anita and Robert Willett of Patten, Jerry and Dorothy Peavey of Patten, and Teresa and Dwaine Lord of Patten; 15 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews; a close friend, Karen Glidden; and many other friends too numerous to mention. She was the last of her siblings.
Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Friday at Bowers Funeral Home, Sherman Street, Island Falls. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Agnes Catholic Church, Island Falls.
