FRANKLIN – Priscilla “Pat” E. Waddell, 76, wife of the late Charles E. Waddell Sr., died peacefully April 7, 2011, after a long illness. She was born March 9, 1935, in Franklin, the daughter of Harvard and Cora (Morse) Tracy.

Pat was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sibling and aunt. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and Sammy. She also enjoyed her spending time outside in her yard and gardening, and her greatest joy was her 2005 Mustang.

She was survived by three children, Rebecca Waddell Crawford, Charles E. Waddell Jr. and his wife, Kimberly, of North Waterboro and Maryann Waddell-Steger and her husband, William, of Franklin; six grandchildren, Amy, Martin, Crystal, Kristin, Rayven and Logan; six great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; a special nephew, Gary Tracy and his wife, Terry; and a special niece, Holly Tracy. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was predeceased by a son, Cecil A. Waddell; a daughter, Cecilia Waddell Smith; and five brothers and one sister.

A celebration of her life will be held 4 p.m. Sunday, April 10, at Franklin Baptist Church with Pastor Steve Sobel officiating. Private Interment will be at Bayview Cemetery, Franklin. Gifts in her memory may be sent for the care and rehabilitation of her son, Charles E. Waddell Jr., after a severe automobile accident.
