BANGOR – Roddy James Rodrigue, 32, went home to be with the Lord April 13, 2011, at a Bangor hospital. He was born Sept. 24, 1978, in Tampa, Fla., son of Rodney and Donna (Frautten) Rodrigue.
He graduated from Piscataquis Community High School, Class of 1996. He enjoyed fishing, writing poems and making people laugh.
He is survived by his mother of Bangor; his fiancee, April Field and her son, Wesley, of Bangor; grandmother, Cora Frautten of Dexter; many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his father; and his grandparents, Lorenzo and Dora Rodrigue.
Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Friday, April 15, at Crosby & Neal, 61 Main St., Dexter. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, April 16, at New Hope Baptist Church, Dexter, with the Rev. Harold Wheeler officiating. Burial will be later in the spring at Brown Cemetery, Sangerville. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to New Hope Baptist Church, 130 Spring St., Dexter, ME 04930.
